About Kristian
I hold a Master’s degree in Law from Aarhus University, which I completed in 2020, and I joined Advodan Vejle in October 2024.
As a lawyer, my primary focus has been on environmental law, particularly cases concerning Section 3 of the Nature Protection Act, the coastal protection zone, and construction and protection lines. Since 2020, I have worked as a case officer at the Danish Appeals Boards Authority and, from 2022, as a deputy chairman with a specific focus on nature-related cases. My experience has given me in-depth knowledge of the practices of the Environmental and Food Appeals Board, as well as the EU and administrative law issues that often arise in connection with appeal proceedings.
I prioritize providing legal advice in a way that is understandable to the client, ensuring they feel included as an integral part of the process.
In addition to my legal background, I have nearly ten years of experience with the Danish Police, where, alongside operational and “regular” police work, I investigated cases involving violence and property crimes.
Personal Life
I live near Silkeborg with my wife and our two children, aged two and five. In my free time, I enjoy hunting, as well as running and cycling whenever possible.
